ABOUT MADEIRA TAXI TOURS BY DIOGO

I’m a local guide of Madeira Island. I have been providing private tours since 2012. I aim to provide you with a fun, relaxed and informative tour of this beautiful island. The tours are no rush, flexible and can be amended to fit your interests. I speak Portuguese, English, Spanish and a little German. I pick up and drop off from all Funchal hotels/accommodation and will meet passengers at the cruise ship terminal. I look forward to meeting you.

Not only did he explain everything we saw with interesting detail, but loved to tell us about the history of the island. Diogo let us spend as much time as we needed at every stop and made sure we were getting the best viewpoints for photos.

We had an 8 month old baby on the tour and to say he was understanding and went above and beyond to help us when the baby had an issue, is still an understatement. I’ve never had someone as kind and helpful in my life as a tour guide. Diogo goes to lengths to make sure you’re happy and taken care of on the trip, that you’ll probably never experience again.

I can’t stress how much I recommend Diogo for anyone looking for a tour. You get so much more than “a tour”. You get genuine enthusiasm from someone who loves/knows everything about the island and a guide who will do everything in their power to make sure your visit is enjoyable."
