Full Day Private Island Tours

All tours are private, provided in the comfort of a fully insured airconditioned 8 seater Mercedes Vito, Safely driven by myself.

Services: Services

The full day tours are around 6/7 hours. We will explore the island at your pace, cafe breaks and a lunch break will be made. Throughout the tour i will offer information about island life, nature and history. A full day gives enough time to venture outside of the typical tourist spots and get a taste for the real local Madeira!

MADEIRA WEST SIDE TOUR TO PORTO MONIZ

Full day private tour of approximately 6 hours visiting:

  • Camara de Lobos, local fishing village where Winston Churchill enjoyed painting.

  • Cabo Girao, a 580m glass lookout platform suspended over the sea cliff

  • Ribeira Brava a quaint coastal town with a river flowing into the sea, shops, cafes & a small market line the seafront

  • Sao Vicente, small municipality surrounded by lush forest valleys

  • Picturesque coastal road through Seixal with the oportunity to see some waterfalls

  • Porto Moniz & volcanic pools, time here to have lunch, swim or simply enjoy drinks by the sea!

Madeira East Side Tour To Ponta De Sao Lourenco

Full day private tour of approximately 6 hours visiting:​

  • Pico do Arieiro, highest accessibile peak by car

  • Ribeiro Frio, here you can do a 45 minute scenic walk 

  • Santana, area where traditional houses can be viewed

  • Miradouro do Guindaste, known as the 'crane viewpoint' as its layout is as if walking along the top of a glass crane, views accross the eastern cliffs 

  • Porto da Cruz, picturesque surfing bay, coastal path to two bays with nice restaurants 

  • Ponta de Sao Lourenco, 'tip' of the island

  • Statue of Jesus Christ & clifftop cable car

The tour is another favourite, a great mix of coast, harbours and mountains.
